04/02/07 - Dynacraft BSC, Inc. Launches New Specialty Retail Division
American Canyon, CA (April 2, 2007) – Dynacraft BSC, Inc., a leading U.S. bicycle distributor, announced today that it had launched a new division designed to create new distribution channels for higher-end Dynacraft bikes.
Dynacraft SRG (Specialty Retail Group) will combine the design and distribution expertise of Dynacraft BSC, Inc. with the advanced technological and manufacturing capabilities of its supplier. By doing this, Dynacraft SRG will offer specialty and sporting goods retailers, as well as consumers, exciting new product lines that will deliver superior value versus competition. The new division will be managed by Shannon Scott, a veteran retail sales executive who joined Dynacraft last year.
Dynacraft Managing Director John Bisges said: “Our focus with Dynacraft SRG will be in providing our partners with innovative new products – all with cutting edge designs, top-quality components, and advanced technologies such as carbon fiber frames”. Dynacraft SRG is also planning to sell a number of its models directly to consumers through a new e-commerce-enabled website. This e-commerce website addresses the web-savvy, higher income consumer who is the target for Dynacraft SRG bikes. It was also successfully implemented by Dynacraft in launching its Dekra D-Drive chainless bike last summer.
Bisges adds: “The mission of Dynacraft SRG is very clear – build volume and profit for the retailer by offering the consumer a better value compared to the competition.”
