Dynacraft BSC, Inc. chooses Savant Software in managing new warehouse facility
American Canyon, CA (January 23, 2007) – Dynacraft BSC Inc., a leading US importer and distributor of quality bicycles for the entire family, announced today that it had chosen the Savant Software, Inc. Warehouse Management System (WMS) for its new 300,000 square foot warehouse in Napa Valley, California. Prior to bringing its warehouse operations in-house, Dynacraft had outsourced its warehouse distribution functions.
Fueled by rapid growth, increased outsourcing costs and a greater need for quality control, Dynacraft will implement Savant's robust Warehouse Management System to track its inventory from receipt to shipping. The company imports more than 5.5 million bicycles from China every year, requiring the tracking and receipt of hundreds of containers that originate from Southeast Asia. Dynacraft will use Savant's Container Tracking module for inventory tracking, and is also implementing Savant's RFID module to ensure Wal-Mart (RFID) compliance.
